The ministry goals of the Cooking Crew are to reach out to the community and the congregation in as many ways as possible. Our Angel Food ministry sends meals out once a month to the shut ins and members who are sick and/or coming home from the hospital and need assistance with their meals. We also include new parents and the elderly. A meal is provided after church on the 4th Sunday of each month, and all are welcome. We have a free Community Lunch on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. This meal is open to all in the community. When the church is not available for us to serve a meal, we provided bag lunches.
We also provide Bereavement meals, and food for receptions and special event. For example: Christmas meals for different organizations, birthday meals, baby showers, and honorary events. We are willing to help any other committee that is holding an event (example Bible School) and provide the food needed. We also provided meals for the Kingston High School band before the home games for several years. We are open to whatever God sends our way both in the community and the church.
